Stonewall looks to offer a substance abuse program

Judge Moorehead prompted County Attorney Riley Branch to speak to the commissioners about his plan to re-open a substance abuse program, possibly joining forces with other counties to reach more in need.

Branch said the county has experienced a few disturbances as a result of substance abuse, which gives him a bit of a window to hopefully get involved and help at the root of the issue. He said sometimes the court requires some offenders to attended substance abuse programs as part of the judgment.
