Chasing her dreams one pointe at a time

Many little girls have dreams of becoming a ballerina. They fall asleep to visions of tutus, glitter, and flying across the brightly lit stage in a crowded auditorium. But the life of a ballerina is more physically and mentally demanding than the time-stopping and graceful dancing reveals, and more often than not, these childhood dreams are replaced as reality begins to take shape.
