Rotan Postmaster, Retha Cooper retires beginning the new year

Rotan Postmaster Retha Cooper will retire at the end of December, bringing an almost 30-year career with the United States Postal Service to an end.

Born and raised in the Big Country area of Western Texas, Cooper graduated a Hamlin Pied Piper. She would soon settle into her life as a wife and mother. Her family would later move to a ranch in Kent County, where she and her husband worked for the next several years.
