Good morning! Grab a cup of coffee and sit and visit with me awhile. Oh! how I wish all of you had this rain we are having at Port Aransas. I told Joe listen to that thunder, I haven’t heard thunder and rain like that in years and the rain poured down. Bless all of these workers down here, they are having such a hard time repairing all of these houses, motels, and hotels. Some of them have the roofs on so they can work inside when it’s bad. There are some they are having such a hard time getting them repaired. There are big piles of everything on the sides of the roads that they are getting out of the houses, motels, and hotels. The big jaws come pick it up and put in big trucks and take it somewhere in Corpus Christi. I have never seen the ocean so angry, the tide is unreal, it comes up and covers the beach. I told Joe you couldn’t hire me to camp out on that beach. I don’t know how in the world they are going to have it where the spring break kids can enjoy themselves in March, but they are trying to get most of it ready.

We have another restaurant opening this week. and Last week we went to Aransas Pass and ate at the Butter Churn that is up and running and boy it is good. Every day they have a different menu and it’s all you can eat, with a big salad bar, desert bar, and three different meats every day. Joe wants to go when the Liver and Onions are on the menu, then he and David want to go on Friday when all kinds of fish are on the menu. then they want to go when the Pork Chops and chicken are on the menu. I said it looks like they have mine and Judy’s week planned. We are really enjoying getting to have so much time with them, course Judy has always been fun, love her dearly, but David has been a career Navy Man so we are just getting to really know him, and he is precious.
