Good morning to all of you, grab you a cup of coffee and come visit with me awhile. Wonderful rain I told Joe I hadn’t seen it rain like that since we left Kentucky last spring, it was wonderful. We got 2 and 1/2 inches Friday morning going to Snyder and rained on us all the way and then we had got tenths of rain before that every morning or late of evening. The way everyone was talking it was wide spread everywhere, Joe hasn’t been out to the farm yet, it’s too muddy, but he can hardly wait to go out there and see what the rain gauge says. Some of the ranchers north of town said they got a good one, so maybe it didn’t skip Joe’s farm, course it’s not going to help the cotton, it will help all those weeds. I told Joe, wonder if we could sell the weeds for flowers! He didn’t think too much of my suggestion! Joe and I have been visiting this week, you know that is what is so good about retirement you get to take your time at anything you do, and then when you want to go visiting you don’t have to hurry, you just get to enjoy the visit. We have friends that have brought Joe lemon cucumbers, they are the best things, and they have kept everyone in Aspermont supplied with cucumbers, she brings them to Senior Citizens Meals all the time so everyone is enjoying them.
