The monthly meeting of the Fisher County Historical Commission was attended by 15 members at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2nd. A brief business part of the meeting was followed with an interesting presentation concluding Zenita Gardner’s ranch series.

Ms. Gardner’s presentation on the Two Circles Bar Ranch was based on an under-graduate thesis written in 1935 by Ms. Josie Baird. The ranch was started in the late 1870’s when J.J. Hinson selected an approximately 50 mile by 30 mile section of open range which covered the entire area of Kent County and small parts of Scurry,
