Stonewall 4-H cooks up a lot of spirit at District Food Challenge

The District 3, 4-H Food Challenge District Competition was held in Jacksboro, Texas on November 28, 2018. There were 298 kids participating this year, the largest number to have ever competed in this competition.

Seventeen kids from Stonewall County

4-H were among the large number of contestants competing in District Food Challenge.

In the junior division, Madalyn Gonzales, Graden Rabel, Brianna Hendrix, and Matti Polk otherwise known as “The Spice Kids,” competed in the nutritious snack category and “The Glamorous Grain Girls,” a group made up of Micah Hagins, Daisy Garcia, and Georgia Seton, competed in the bread and cereal category.
