Aspermont citizens gathered downtown Thursday in front of Local Business E&C Drilling to enjoy an evening of fireworks and hotdogs. For five years running, Father and Son owners of E&C, Roger and Brandon English, along with their wives Johnny and Lacy English, have dedicated their time and money to putting on memorable Fourth of July celebrations.

“I was always around fireworks as a kid, during July 4th and around New Years, whenever the stand was open, we were popping them”.

As more people and vehicles began to arrive Thursday evening, the smell of smoke and weenies could be smelled in the air. Around 240 hotdogs were cooked and served inside the red metal building with the large windmill mounted to the side.
