The museum has several interesting exhibits including the 'Medical Room' which displays many articles used by the early doctors of Fisher County.

Only 15 member of the Fisher County Historical Commission were in attendance at the monthly meeting on August 6th. However, the business part of their meeting went very well. Vice President Jerry Fry opened the meeting and it was noted that the quilts and quilt tops donated by Brenda Hickman the previous month had been sold and the monies donated to the museum. In new business, several items were discussed including the cleaning of the museum, limited space for new donations, volunteers to keep the museum open on Thursdays, and the election of a new President. Dot Harris of Rotan was voted in by acclamation and will begin her new duties immediately. Our board members have dwindled and the membership will vote in new board members in next month’s meeting.
