As schools across Texas begin their junior year under the state’s A-F Accountability Rating System, administrators, teachers, parents, and community members are looking over their school district’s sophomore report cards, as the state released official results last week.

While the report cards show improvements and backslides in the Fisher and Stonewall county school districts, each of the three remains within state guidelines, some making significant improvements from last year.

One of the biggest swings in overall outcome took place at Aspermont ISD, as AISD scored a high B for 2019, ending the year with an 89. This was a 10-point increase over the 79 the district earned in year one of the system.
