CAROL GREENWAY-HOLLAND

Good morning to all of you, beautiful day in

Aspermont, Texas, this morning hope you enjoy your Labor Day Holiday, grab you a glass of tea and visit with me awhile. Joe and I have been at the farm while it was cool looking at the cotton, it's waist high to

me with 7 to 8 bolls on it, so maybe if we can get it to the gin we will make a crop this year, thanks to the Meador family, they are the ones that are taking care of it for Joe. I walked while I was out there while Joe was walking over the field, saw lots of tracks, deer and hogs, but did not see or hear a bird, I love the birds, the grasshoppers are huge but they have not been eating on the cotton too much else for them to eat along the pastures. So I walked about half a mile, felt real good, wish all of you could have walked with me, it's so quiet out there, love the country.
