Rebecca Park Cooper, age 87, of Crystal City, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at her home. She was born June 14, 1932 in Stamford, Texas, the daughter of the late Ruth Marie (nee Lee) and Paris Doyle Park, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Narvel “Gene” Cooper; sons Michael (Yvonne) Cooper of Crystal City, and Bruce (Zoe Ann) Cooper of Festus; daughter Dana (Mark) Templeton of Festus; a “special child of her heart” Bobbi (Larry) Crawford of Fenton, Missouri; grandchildren Toni (Perry) Walsh, Sonya Cooper, Jessica (Adam) Feltes, Amanda Templeton Jackson, Kayla Elizabeth Crawford, and Colleen Janae Crawford; greatgrandchildren McKenna Templeton, Chloe Skaggs, Tristan Jackson, Atticus Feltes, Lyla Cooper, and Kyrian Jackson; her special caregiver Christy Pennington of Pevely, Missouri; sisters Ann (Bill) Gray of Stephenville, Texas, Mary Jo (the late JT) Pope of Roby, Texas, and Betty Koontz of Austin, Texas; and brothers Billy (the late Ann) Park of Roby, Texas, and Charles (Dorothy) Park of West Virginia.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant daughter Carla Ann Cooper; grandchildren Travis Michael Cooper, Brandon Rutledge Templeton, and Kasey Ann Boyer; sisters Patsy Prewit, Jean Palmer, and Tilly Koonsman; and brothers Paris D. Park, Jr., Dan Park, Donald Park, and Thomas “TA” Park.

She was retired from the Missouri Division of Employment Security; longtime member of First Baptist Church of Festus/Crystal City; and was a dedicated blood donor, having gifted over nine gallons. She loved cooking and baking; and was known for her loving hugs.

Funeral services 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Chaplain Cody Alley. Interment in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials in her memory are preferred to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Gateway Chapter or Mercy Jefferson Hospice.
