Lions pounce the Bobcats 64-14

The Roby Lions continued to roar Friday night as they again forced the mercy rule on the Bobcats, beating Rule 64-14 in the third quarter. Although the Bobcats were the first to score, the Lions responded with a series of plays, with Kaige Covington carrying the ball in for a touchdown.

Hornets break the Mustangs 74-36

Friday night was a step in the right direction for the Aspermont Hornets after a 74-36 win over the Benjamin Mustangs. The Hornets jumped to an early 16-6 lead to end the first quarter after back-to-back touchdowns from senior Josiah Coplen, who has 254 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 16 carries.
