Lillian (Loflon) Woods passed away October 29, 2020, in Jayton. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020, in McCaulley Cemetery in McCaulley, Texas, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Born September 27, 1916, in Sylvester, Texas, Lillian was the daughter of the late John and Dona (Wells) Loflon. She attended school in Sylvester. Lillian married the love of her life, James William Woods. She was an incredibly talented seamstress for many years. She also worked for Heidenheimer's in Hamlin, and H.L. Davis’s in Rotan until her retirement at the young age of 99. She loved plants and had a green thumb. But most of all she loved people and she loved to talk. Lillian was a member of the McCaulley Baptist Church.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents John and Dona Loflon; her husband, James William Woods ; a son, James Woods Jr. ;a granddaughter, Jamie Wood, and Prissy (her favorite puppy).

She is survived by her daughter Annie Laurie Henderson (Billy) of Rotan; a son, Johnnie Woods (Deeanna ) of Hamlin; nine grandchildren: Mark Henderson (Amy); Lynda Nelson (Guy); Jimmy Woods (Lynette); Jerry Woods (Jamie); Johnny Woods (Kathy); Joe Don Woods (Amanda); Jimmy McNiel; and Robert McNiel (Betty); 22 Great Grandchildren, and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.
